More Questions than Answers

~~~~~~~~~~~~Last time on Buffy~~~~~~~~~~~~~

While they were all puzzling over who or what the girl was Giles' phone rang.

There was a look given, reaching to answer the phone, "Hello?"

"You have my slayer. I want her back." Came the British voice on the other end of the line.

Buffy went from looking at, well herself to looking at Giles who's face just changed drastically and she whispered "what?"

Giles held a finger up for them to wait, while Faith had gone to the kitchen for sandwiches to make, nope not for anyone else with the plural. "You're slayer? You mean your clone? Which was obviously done without consent?"

"I mean my Slayer Rupert, born and breed if slightly accelerated and fed a story that was guaranteed to keep her in line, unlike your rogue slayers. now you have a choice. Return her, or she'll put you in a body bag. You have five minutes old boy." The voice said without introductions. The line went dead not really waiting for a response.

Giles gave the phone this nasty look a moment, shaking his head. "Well then. Whomever that was says we have five minutes to give 'his' slayer back, and she's been born and bred, but accelerated. Also told some type of story to keep her in line."

"What else is going to happen?" Buffy said standing up from the sofa. "I'm so over it" she said looking at the girl on the sofa and Dawn, what was next?

"Well if I had to guess, that Watcher is using blood magic to control the girl she probably believes that her parents tried to kill her at birth considering she has vampire blood mixed with Buffy's Slayer blood she's a hybrid, with none of the weaknesses of a vampire." Willow frowned, at the thought. "She's a lot like Angelus's son Connor." Willow added as an afterthought.

"Neither of you. Where did Faith go?" If he wasn't already looking annoyed he was now.

"What!?" Already half a deanwich eaten in her hand when she came into the room again. "I got hungry."

"Neither of you actually said what she may have said when you ran into her. That would help."

"That we abandoned the watchers and left them defenseless" Buffy looked over at Willow. "Oh and that we were going to get her killed if we didn't let her walk away" the Slayer added, everything was so weird and she just wanted to know what was going on and who she needed to beat.

Faith was talking with her mouth half full, "Yeah, what B said. She just kind of showed up and went all nuts freaking out so we dealt with it and brought her here."

Willow frowned looking down at the sleeping Buffy look alike. Gasping when the girl's eyes opened and they were completely red like blood was filling her vision. Before Willow could back away Summer punched her sending her flying across the room. The girl stood looking for the door and starting towards it.

What happened caught Buffy off guard, which wasn't normal for her. There was so much going on in her head, but she didn't have time for that now. Buffy rushed to Willow's side to quickly check and make sure she was okay "Willow" the Slayer said as she knelt down to her friend "are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Willow said moving to get up and go to her chest. "She's under blood spell control, she's not even conscious right now," Willow told Buffy, "I just need time to break the bond or she'll walk right back to the man on the phone and we get no answers," Willow told Buffy.

"Oh no she isn't" Buffy moved to try to get between the girl and the door "Faith" she called out, it may take both of them to stop her.

At least Faith had already finished her sandwich. She was already up on this bitch. Blows being exchanged already, and Giles was going to need to buy new furniture. "I said fucking stay down!" Giving a cross hook and then slamming 'Buffy' into the floor, hard enough to crack the boards.

Summer went down, but it was as if it didn't faze her. Void eyes looked up into Faith's as the woman brought her down hard enough to crack the floorboards. Using the momentum from Faith's attack she pushed her feet up into Faith's stomach and tossed her into the wall barely hitting Willow.

Willow had managed to avoid being hit while she worked on the spell she needed to break the blood magic that was working on the young slayer. She was a strong witch but even she did not dabble in blood magic, it was dangerous and it could hurt more than help.

Summers stood slowly her movements clearly showing she wasn't in control of her actions. Faith had done some damage. there was blood in the corner of the girl's mouth so it was obvious she'd been hurt. She turned back towards the door to leave being summoned by her watcher.

Buffy ran up behind Summers and wrapped her arms around her "you're not going anywhere" she growled as she tried to hold the girl in the place. "Come on Will" Buffy cried out, whatever was pulling this girl was powerful.

Willow was working hard as she could, taking a knife and going to where Buffy was holding the girl and cut her on the arm to get some of the blood that hadn't already been used for the spell.

Summer didn't even flinch She did, however, grab Buffy's arm and threw her over her shoulder into Faith who was no doubt coming up the front to help Buffy. She continued towards the door. Even as Summer's hand reached for the knob Willow broke the blood spell controlling Summer and the girl collapsed unconscious on the floor.

Buffy was getting up rubbing her neck "ouch" she said with a frown looking at Willow and then down at the girl on the floor.

"Think we should tie her up?" Buffy looked over at Faith and then back at Willow and Giles. "With like five chains, cause rope ain't holding this thing in place."

"I've broken the blood bond that was controlling her, she shouldn't give us any more problems unless the watcher tries to come in here to get her and Giles is the only watcher I know of who's tried to protect his slayer." Willow pointed out.

"Yeah" Buffy had a look on her face as she looked down at this poor girl "that would be a bad choice for this watcher" she looked up at Willow and over to Faith.

Giles held a hand up because Faith was ready to lay into Summers yet again, even unconscious. "Yes, we can put her in the panic room in the basement, so no need for the chains until we can sort this out."
