Mission: Sunnydale, A new Darkness

Closing the weapons chest, Buffy tossed Faith a stake "should be efficient for a vamp". Buffy didn't like the idea that there was someone out there that looked like her and she didn't know how or what it was.

Faith snatched it up out of the air. "It usually is."

"Where to first?" Buffy asked as they started toward the door. Sunnydale used to have its fair share of monster hang out's and Buffy figured Faith had been in town so she probably knew more about the rebuild.

"Where do we usually go first?" That was completely rhetorical. Double-checking the gathered weapons a moment.

Buffy smiled "Alley's around the Bronze" she smiled, assuming the Bronze was still there.

~somewhere in Sunnydale~

Summer wandered, well more like hunted but she was conflicted. She'd never had doubts about her mission before, she had never questioned her watcher's orders before. But she had been sent to cleanse Sunnydale of monsters, and vampires, and anything else that feeds on humanity. As her watcher had once told her, Summer had been made specifically for this job.

Buffy wondered if they were going to find anything, it seemed like they had been out for a good while. She still wasn't sure how someone that looked like her attacked Clem and bit him like she was a vampire. But whatever it was they needed to find it and more than likely slay it.

Faith and Buffy would traverse the alley around the bronze coming out close to the park where the kids usually play in the afternoon. In the distance, there would be the sound of fighting. If they followed the fighting they'd find the blond fighting, two vampires. Wrapping her ankles around the throat of one vampire the blond swung up and staked it falling to the ground and rolling away from the second one attack.

Buffy looked at Faith with a look of shock on her face and started "what the fu" until she was tackled from behind from a vampire that was joining the fight.

Faith gave a shrug to Buffy, then turned just slightly to the side, firing a crossbow bolt into the heart of a Vampire that was coming up behind her. Dropping it.

Summers rolled up onto her feet and into a roundhouse kick knocking the vamp she was fighting away from her before moving into a cartwheel grabbing the crossbow on the ground she'd dropped earlier before shooting not just through the heart of the vampire she faced but hitting the one attacking Buffy in the back through the heart causing both to dust before turning to take off. Her Watcher had told her under no uncertain terms she wasn't supposed to meet the Rogue Slayer Buffy.

With the crossbow down, flicked out a stake and threw it at the Vampire that was on Buffy. Hitting it in the back and through the heart at the exact same time that Summer staked it.

Buffy started down the alley chasing after whatever it was "Hey" she screamed toward the thing she was chasing that looked like her and just took out two Vampires in front of her.

"Well, that went just swimmingly. Hey B, where'd." Faith just rolled her eyes a little bit. "And of course. Ran off. I used to do that shit." Moving over to pick up Summer's cell phone. "Works to have spent some time with those eggheads and Angel in LA." Starting to dig into it to look at the recent locations and the ones where the calls usually were received. "Fucking Xander kinda helped in this field also. Even though I'm now standing here..uh..talking to myself."

Buffy came back down the alley to meet Faith "No clue where she or it or..." she shook her head.

"Yeah, well you know to feel things out with yourself and the surroundings, B."

~~~Sunnydale Graveyard~~~

Summers' hadn't stopped running until she came to the graveyard. She gasped and panted looking back to see that she had lost Buffy who had been chasing her. Frowning the young girl tried to figure out how Buffy knew to look for her. Summers jumped up into a tree as she saw Buffy running into the Graveyard behind her cursing the woman for continuing to follow her.

Buffy was breathing hard from chasing the girl, as they came to the graveyard she slowed down "she has to be here somewhere" she looked over at Faith.

"Took you long enough." Faith tilted her head a little bit since she was behind Summers. "Getting slow, B."

Summers glared at Faith behind her before dropping down to face them rather than hide. Her watcher wasn't going to like this. In fact, the blood magic he used could very well knock her out if she doesn't keep her mouth shut. Looking around she worried her lower lip wondering if Mr. Heartwood was out there anywhere. "I have nothing to say to either of you." She growled.

Buffy didn't reply to Faith's remark about being slow as she caught up to the two of them, she, however, stared at the girl in front of them and then glanced over at Faith rather confused. What more could the universe through at her, with Dawn and now this "Who or what?" the slayer asked taking a few steps toward the girl they had been chasing.

With each step that Buffy too towards Summers the girl took one step back. The young girl was only panting slightly from the run, it wasn't hard enough to be winded, but it was noticeable to show she at least breath so despite the claimed that she'd bitten someone like a vampire would she breathe air, unlike a vampire. However, she knew better than to show the vampire half of her face to two slayers. they would no doubt kill her before asking questions since the watchers had no control over them. Looking around again nervously wondering if her own watcher was near if so Mr. Heartwood wouldn't hesitate to cause her pain if she didn't get away from these two soon.

"Who are you?" Buffy asked looking over at Faith and then back at the girl that looked like her. The Slayer wasn't suspecting that Clem was so accurate, but this girl the two slayers chased down did look like her and it was weird. "Look I'm in a bad mood and you just need to talk" after everything with Dawn and now this, she was in the mood to punch something.

Faith shrugged a little bit to Buffy, she had no clue who the girl was. "She's always in a bad mood by the way."

Summers looked to the two her eyes cold and searching for a way to escape that wouldn't cause her the pain of blood magic that her watchers had promised to use if she ran into any 'rogue' slayers. "I have nothing to say to two rogue slayers who left the watchers defenseless." She growled the young woman's eyes went yellow, unlike a full vampire her face didn't change. Unlike Connor though who had been born a vampire Summers had been made so some aspects of her were more vampire than Connors so when her eyes changed color her fangs slide out as well. "Now I'm going to leave and you're going to let me so I can finish my job," Summers said looking around still.

"I think not" Buffy replied and started toward the vampire or human or whatever she was. "I've got questions and you're gonna answer them."

Summers' moved into a roundhouse kick aimed directly to Buffy's chest she wasn't going anywhere with this woman. "You're going to get me killed if you don't let me walk away," Summers growled moving on the woman who filled her with the most anger forgetting for a moment that Faith was behind her.

Buffy was knocked onto her backside from the kick, she shook her head and thought 'this girl was strong' as she got back onto her feet.

"You're going to get killed if you try to walk away, less you answer questions," even with that being said, yes from behind. Faith shifted and performed a spinning back kick to Summers, or at, Summers back.

Summers wasn't without instincts she moved to jump over the spinning back kick from Faith only to land on her back. Her blood on fire as her watch started the blood magic to call her back to him or kill her. She squirmed and arched on the ground slightly cuts forming showing the two slayers that she did bleed red, unlike a vampire who didn't really bleed.

Buffy has gotten to her feet and joining the battle when the girl started to randomly bleed “what the hell?” Buffy asked looking over at Faith but ready to fight if she needed to.

Summers' body arched off the ground trying to keep from crying out in pain as the blood magic poured through her. Her fangs retracted her yellow eyes returned to normal.

Buffy watched as the vampire features went away and the girl looked like a normal human, like Buffy. She seemed to be in pain as she was lifted from the ground, Buffy looked at Faith no one hundred percent sure what to do, then Summers fell to the ground unconscious.

~Giles House ~

Fifteen minutes later Faith and Buffy walked through Giles's door, Buffy was carrying Summers and laid her on the sofa. "Majorly weird stuff happening here Giles" she looked over at him, a look of concern on her face. Buffy put the vampire on the sofa and just kind of stared at her. First Dawn and now this, what was next to the end of the world 'oh wait we've done that too' she thought to herself.

"I don't know who she is or where she came from" the Slayer paused and looked over at Giles and then back at the sleeping girl on the sofa "but I've had it."

Willow was at Giles' place when they brought the girl in. Making her way over to the sofa Willow looked her over. While she was an accomplished witch she had managed to keep up with her computer hacking and science. "I'm sensing blood magic," Willow told Giles and the two slayers. "I'll need a drop of her blood and your blood it might give us some answers," Willow said using her magic to create two syringes drawing blood from the unconscious girl and then looking to Buffy with the other Syringe.

Buffy held out her arm, she wasn't really sure why Willow needed her blood. However, she trusted her best friend with her life "Seen anything like this before?" Buffy asked Willow and Giles both.

Willow took the needed amount of blood need to run the test. "The only thing I can think of is that you've been cloned somehow." Willow frowned as she put the blood samples side by side and ran the test so that they could see it on the computer. "We'll know in just a moment." Willow offered.

"No," Buffy said shaking her head and looking at Willow "what next?" she asked, she knew that Willow didn't know any more than she did, but she was having a hell of a day.

"Oh right." Faith rolled her eyes. "A clone? really? We have monsters and shit but that kind of mess?"

Willow looked to the results of the blood comparison test stood and looked to Buffy with wide eyes. "Its a match she's you right down to your fingerprints with only a slight difference that I cannot seem to pin down. I think that has to do with the vampire blood in her. This girl is either your clone or your daughter." Willow told Giles, Buffy, and Faith Xander, if he was here, would hear the results also.

"Well," Buffy looked around "I haven't had any children" she added "and I" pausing "I just can't, a clone?" The Slayer stood up from the sofa and crossed her arms, walking around the room "Willow how could this have happened?" she asked turning toward her best friend who was the smartest and most powerful person in the room.

Giles gave a look as well a moment as well, pushing his glasses back on his nose. "Well, I suppose it is entirely possible. There are different dimensions, which we have dealt with before. It could be witchcraft, it could be a science experiment. We know that your blood has been spilled more than once and someone could have gotten a hold of it."

While they were all puzzling over who or what the girl was Giles' phone rang.

There was a look given, reaching to answer the phone, "Hello?"

"You have my slayer. I want her back." Came the British voice on the other end of the line.
